For most companies, securing the computing environment is the IT
department’s highest priority. When deploying new operating systems
or computers, ensuring that the new deployments are at least as
secure as the current environment is critical. Using constantly
updated baselines and images can help you keep the environment
secure while enabling rapid deployment of new workstations. This
webcast shows you how to choose and enable the security
configuration of your desktops, manage ongoing security updates, and
maintain desktop security. We discuss group policy objects, Windows
BitLocker drive encryption, Windows Firewall, and User Account
Control (UAC), and illustrate how changes in these items affect
overall security from the standpoint of an IT professional.
